What kind of items does StayingInLJ sell?
Vintage decor curated in La Jolla, CA - vases, lighting, sculptural objects, tableware, wall art, and other decorative accents. Almost everything is one of a kind.
Is everything really one of a kind?
Almost all of it. Most pieces have a quantity of one and are marked "Sold" the moment they're purchased - once it's gone, it's gone for good. A small number of semi-rare items have more than one unit available, and that's shown on the item's own page.
What condition are the items in?
Every item is vintage or antique, sold as-is in its current condition. Wear, patina, and signs of age are part of the piece's character, not a defect - we describe and photograph each item honestly, including anything notable about its condition.
Can I see items in person before buying?
Yes - the collection can be viewed in person at Sea Hive Station, 2750 Dewey Rd #103, San Diego, CA 92106, by appointment. Email stayinginlj@gmail.com to set up a time.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, local pickup is available by appointment at Sea Hive Station in San Diego. Pickup is chosen as a fulfillment option during checkout, and items must be picked up within 14 days of purchase.
Do you ship, and how much does it cost?
Yes, anywhere in the US via USPS. Shipping cost is calculated live by weight and destination, and you'll choose from a few USPS service options directly at checkout. A $5 packaging and handling fee applies to shipped orders over $30, already included in the shipping cost shown. Orders are packed and shipped individually, usually within 1-3 business days, and you'll get a separate email with tracking once it's on its way.
What is your return policy?
Because every item is a unique vintage piece, all sales are final. The exception is if an item arrives significantly damaged in shipping, isn't what was described, or we made a shipping error - reach out within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll make it right.
